The rain on Tuesday and Wednesday has slightly delayed work on a section of the new curb and gutter, but the first section was poured on Thursday.

Other construction activities this week included grading for the new sidewalk and placing stone base course material for the short section of Clifton Road that will be moved closer to WHSCAB.

On Friday night a crew will demo a section of sidewalk at the intersection of Eagle Row and Clifton Road.  This is at the southwest corner.  It will be rebuilt on Saturday in its new location.

Also as a quick reminder a materials testing crew will be working in the roadway on Saturday at the intersection of Clifton Road, Haygood Drive and Eagle Row.  This will take place from 9 AM until 3 PM.  One lane of the roadway will be out of service at a time.

Next Week
